30MarIdeas are ah brewing…

Watch this space - something is being created in the background. It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’m keeping this face simple for the time being, hence the theme change (god dammit it is hard to find a theme I want to stick with for more than five minutes!). Will release various imaginings shortly.

One of my all time favourite writers and an unbelievable inspiration. Your stories, vivid imagination and outlook on what is possible for humankind in the future will be greatly missed…

14FebValentine’s Day - Through the eyes of a Flower Courier

Below is a collection of photos from my night of flower pickups the day before Valentine’s Day. The biggest day in a Florist and Flower Couriers calendar. I’ve done flower couriering for an entire year before (from Valentine’s Day 2006 - Valentine’s Day 2007) and have many stories to tell. It is a very interesting occupation where lots of unexpected things happen almost on a daily basis. I decided to do one more day, kind of in honour for a friend who passed away before the new year who was involved in the flower business, and also to help out as I had experienced the mayhem before and the more driver’s the better! Anyway, on to the photos…

Apologies in advance for the quality of some of them, still learning the ropes of my 20D, and I’m using a laptop to edit and upload these photos. Hurray for no colour calibration! Enjoy the pretty colours… (please be patient as the photos load - 4.4mb total - click to view large)

Futuristic weapon can fire solid projectiles at speeds up to Mach 5.

Holy shit! The future of warfare is now. I don’t think the human race will last long enough to actually use these weapons in battle. With the barest levels of optimism, I hope that we as a whole, move past reigning death and destruction on ourselves and every other creature on this planet. Impressive technology none the less.

29Jana weak week…

As the title says, it’s been a piss weak seven days on many fronts. Have had no desire to update jammit on any level. I don’t think I even loaded it up once during the course of the last seven days. Talk about a lack of discipline. I’ve had a lot on my mind this last week. I haven’t felt this unmotivated in a long time. And just as I am typing this, listening to the track below, the following words sing out to me “don’t you worry, everything’s gonna be just fine… this won’t hurt”. Such melancholy. And to think I’ve been in this frame of mind almost the entire week. Funny, even my horoscope mentions this current mood. Specifically today, maybe that’s why I’m writing this.

I’ve been extremely bored and nothing has piked my interest more than a few degrees. Yet I guess tonight has… especially musically. Trust music to send those positive vibes through your system. Current tune: Sounds From The Ground - Speedbumps. Watched American Gangster last night, thought it was a little drawn out but overall, a great movie. When I think about it now, it was even inspirational. At least from a business perspective. All these thoughts racing through my mind. I’d just like to for once, pick one of them and stick with it till the end of the idea.

Right now, my immediate concern is financial. Secondly, creative. Thirdly, my overall ambitions and goals. Somehow, I feel as if I should be combining the second and third, and the first will look after itself. Now to brainstorm in my dreams… where we are all gods. More generic internet linkage updates shall follow shortly.
