Below is a collection of photos from my night of flower pickups the day before Valentine’s Day. The biggest day in a Florist and Flower Couriers calendar. I’ve done flower couriering for an entire year before (from Valentine’s Day 2006 - Valentine’s Day 2007) and have many stories to tell. It is a very interesting occupation where lots of unexpected things happen almost on a daily basis. I decided to do one more day, kind of in honour for a friend who passed away before the new year who was involved in the flower business, and also to help out as I had experienced the mayhem before and the more driver’s the better! Anyway, on to the photos…
Apologies in advance for the quality of some of them, still learning the ropes of my 20D, and I’m using a laptop to edit and upload these photos. Hurray for no colour calibration! Enjoy the pretty colours… (please be patient as the photos load - 4.4mb total - click to view large)

thoroughly enjoyable : )
I am so impressed by this lil girl! SOOOoooo cute!
Futuristic weapon can fire solid projectiles at speeds up to Mach 5.
Holy shit! The future of warfare is now. I don’t think the human race will last long enough to actually use these weapons in battle. With the barest levels of optimism, I hope that we as a whole, move past reigning death and destruction on ourselves and every other creature on this planet. Impressive technology none the less.
this photo brought tears to my eyes and feelings of disgust and hate for the human race to the surface
