A new year, a new beginning. Leave the past behind where it belongs. Second chances that have occurred on more than one occasion have been abused and now all is lost. So be it… What will be will be. The coming in to the year 2008 and the hours preceding it were some of the craziest in my life if not just for the fact that the whole night was entirely unexpected, in both good and bad ways. Love and hate, it was all wonderful! I have a description of the night I saved from a messenger conversation to a friend, but I don’t think details are important.

Friends of new, friends of current, friends of past… I look forward to this year and will attack it with almost reckless abandon and optimism. Resolutions have been made, some of them just plain silly but we will see what happens. Fuck yeah! Time to do it.
